As some of you may know, I’m coming up on a big project due to be shot on July 1. It’s a big deal to me because it’s something near and dear to me, and that has been for years now. With the help of some dedicated true believers, it’s all going in the can in one day, which for me is a little frightening, but even more exciting.
I don’t want to say much more about this film just yet, but when it’s all finished and edited, everyone interested will be able to have a look. I promise.
The new one works. It’s official. No problems since Samsung replaced the old one. What amazed me was how long it took them to see their way to simply sending me a new one rather that resetting the old one over and over while simultaneously turning me off to ever buying a Samsung product again. Their customer service was actually worse than Apple’s, which has only provided me with one satisfactory experience in the decade I have owned Apple products.
Lesson: if you buy a Samsung product and it works, great. If not, you are totally screwed.
When I set up my beloved laptop I neglected to set up adequate restore points. Lets just say this is why that was a bad idea.
Don’t worry. I am perfectly prepared to fix it, it’s just a pain in the neck.
